Ontic Education was established in 2008 by Daniel Gohl. Building on extensive experience and research in teaching and administration he has worked in a variety of communities and established a track record of successfully partnering with teachers, parents, business, and higher education.


As the Founding Principal at McKinley Technology High School (MTHS) in Washington, D.C. Daniel Gohl successfully merged college bound academic preparation with Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs. With professional work force development programs in biotechnology, broadcast technology and information technology the school has demonstrated significant growth in academic achievement since the re-opening in 2004.

Daniel Gohl's Background

With extensive experience in urban education and preparing students for post-secondary education Daniel Gohl has worked throughout the United States. He has designed and implemented technology infused solutions from the individual learner to an hundred plus site district.  He is a certified teacher in science, mathematics, and computer science, an certified and experienced high school principal, and a transformational district leader. He has worked on program improvement from the pre-Kindergarten through the post-secondary realms.
